*Job Overview*

*Job Title:* Hotel Housekeeper *Location:* TRU by Hilton, Yarmouth, NS *Job Type:* Part time *Reports To:* Housekeeping Supervisor / Executive Housekeeper

*Job Summary:*

The Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas of the hotel. This role ensures a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests in accordance with the hotel?s standards.

*Key Responsibilities:*

• Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas following hotel procedures and standards.
• Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities.
• Dust, vacuum, mop floors, and remove trash in guest rooms and hallways.
• Report any maintenance issues, damage, or lost and found items to the supervisor.
• Restock housekeeping carts with supplies and linens as needed.
• Follow safety and sanitation policies at all times.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of guest information and property.
• Assist with laundry duties if assigned.
• Provide friendly and courteous service to guests when encountered.

*Qualifications:*

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and various shifts.

*Working Conditions:*

• Fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
• May involve exposure to cleaning chemicals.
