Operations Associate, Expansions
Job Brief
You will be hired and employed directly by Troopers and deployed to our client partners across Singapore in F&B, retail, events, promotions, hospitality, warehouse and other operational environments. You will provide manpower support when clients face peak periods, staff shortages, special projects, events or seasonal demand, with assignments varying by client, location, role, working hours and duration.
Job Description
- Support day-to-day operations at client locations according to the job scope and instructions provided for each assignment.
- Provide additional manpower during peak periods, staff shortages, events, promotions, launches and special projects.
- Adapt to different clients, outlets, teams, supervisors and client-specific operating procedures across deployments.
- Review assignment details before each deployment (client, location, shift timing, job scope, reporting contact, dress code) and raise any questions before commencing.
- Complete all required onboarding, briefings, training and safety instructions before or during deployment.
- Follow workplace rules, safety requirements and reasonable instructions from authorised supervisors.
- Communicate promptly with Troopers on attendance, changes in availability, work-related issues or challenges encountered during an assignment.
- Represent Troopers professionally, maintaining grooming, attire and conduct according to each assignment’s requirements.
- Handle client, customer, company and operational information responsibly, maintaining confidentiality where required.
- Take care of client and Troopers property and equipment.
Qualifications
- Able to work varying shift timings and schedules, and to be deployed to different client locations across Singapore.
- Comfortable taking on short-term, recurring or project-based assignments.
- Punctual, reliable and committed to honouring confirmed shifts, with early communication if an issue affects attendance.
- Able to adapt quickly to different work environments, teams and operating procedures.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Customer-service oriented where the assignment involves direct customer interaction.
- Able to communicate clearly with Troopers and client representatives.
- Willing to learn and take on different operational responsibilities. Previous experience may be required for certain assignments; others provide on-the-job briefing or training.
- Holds any qualifications or certifications specified for a given assignment.
