JOB POSITION. LIFE INSURANCE AGENT

Role Description The Life Insurance Agent role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kampala. The agent will identify prospective clients, schedule meetings, and present suitable life insurance products that align with clients’ financial goals and protection needs. Daily responsibilities include explaining policy options and benefits, preparing quotations, completing applications, and assisting clients with underwriting and policy servicing. The agent will maintain regular contact with existing clients to review coverage, handle policy changes, and support claims-related inquiries. The role also involves meeting sales targets, maintaining accurate records, collaborating with the agency team, and participating in ongoing training and market outreach activities.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance Brokerage to identify client needs, present solutions, and close life insurance policies effectively.
• Candidates should possess solid Finance and Insurance knowledge to explain products clearly, assess affordability, and support clients in making informed decisions.
• Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to build trust, handle inquiries, manage concerns, and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Candidates should possess good communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly and professionally.
• Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail in documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Relevant experience in insurance or financial services is an advantage, and a diploma or degree in business, finance, or a related field is beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Kampala, meet performance goals, and adapt to a dynamic, client-focused environment.
