Senior engineer wanted!

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced and committed Senior engineer for an exciting professional environment in Drammen. Here, you will have the opportunity to work in modern and pleasant premises, closely together with a competent engineering team that is passionate about good solutions and continuous development.

In this role, you will hold a central position in the company, where you will both lead and contribute to varied engineering projects. You will work with the development of innovative and cost-effective mechanical solutions – from the idea stage to the finished product – and be an important resource in the work of solving complex technical challenges. At the same time, you will play a key role in supporting and guiding colleagues, and contributing to the further development of both products and processes.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead and contribute to engineering projects and technical tasks
• Guide and support colleagues in their daily work
• Develop solid and cost-effective mechanical solutions from concept to production

We are looking for you who:

• Have 5–10 years of experience as an engineer, preferably from the oil and gas industry
• Have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (a master's degree is an advantage)
• Are a strong professional resource that others naturally seek advice from
• Have very good numerical understanding, and preferably experience with MathCad
• Communicate very well in English, and preferably Norwegian in addition
