Senior Finance Business Partner

Trinity House Group are delighted to be working with this market leading, innovative logistics business, as we support them in the recruitment of Finance Business Partner, based near Warrington, Cheshire.

The business would suit a candidate who thrives in a growing, fast-paced environment. We are seeking an accomplished professional to collaborate with the senior leadership team, to provide business support and insights and to optimise financial performance.

The Job:

You will be an ambitious, established commercial accountant, with proven experience of building relationships within the non-financial stakeholders to take a joined up, proactive approach.

Duties include:

• Deliver insightful financial analysis to inform key business decisions.
• Support the financial planning, investment and reporting processes.
• Identify opportunities, driving proactive solutions to enhance financial performance.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships across departments.
• Prepare and present financial insights to senior management.
• Challenge and support the wider team on business performance.
• Develop and utilise management information systems to drive profitability and support business strategy.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts in collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Monitor trends, identifying revenue performance, margin and cost.

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or proven experience in a similar role.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic-thinking skills.
• Strong communication and influencing abilities, with the confidence to challenge and guide stakeholders.
• Resilient self-starter who identifies problems and implements solutions.
• Excellent level of accuracy and attention to detail with a methodical approach.
