Interim Technical Consultant

Interim Technical Accountant (Year-End & Audit Support) A business is seeking an experienced Technical Accountant to support the year-end financial reporting and audit process during a critical reporting period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of statutory accounts and year-end financial statements.
• Act as the primary liaison for external auditors, managing audit requests and ensuring timely completion.
• Provide technical accounting expertise across complex accounting matters, with a strong focus on IFRS compliance.
• Review and prepare accounting papers, technical memos, and disclosures.
• Support the implementation and interpretation of accounting standards, including areas such as IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IFRS 9, and business-specific reporting requirements.
• Ensure balance sheet integrity through detailed review, reconciliations, and resolution of technical accounting issues.
• Support finance leadership in delivering a smooth and efficient year-end close process.
