Retail | We are partnering with a dynamic retail organisation seeking an experienced Interim Finance Director to provide strategic and operational leadership during a critical period of transformation and growth.
Your tasks
The Opportunity Reporting to the CEO and working closely with key stakeholders, you will take ownership of the finance function, providing commercial insight, driving performance, and ensuring robust financial governance across the business. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the finance team.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Partner with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
- Deliver board-level reporting and commercial analysis.
- Support year-end audit and statutory reporting requirements.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and operational improvement.
- Oversee financial controls, compliance, and risk management.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Proven Finance Director experience within retail, consumer, or multi-site environments.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence at Board level.
- Hands-on leader comfortable operating in fast-paced, changing environments.
- Previous interim or transformation experience highly desirable
What we offer
£550-£700 per day.
