Android Developer

Must-have requirements (all five mandatory):

1. Kotlin Development: 4+ years of commercial Android development, with hands-on production Kotlin coding in the last 12 months. Comfortable working with existing Java codebases.
2. Android SDK & Architecture: Strong understanding of Activity/Fragment lifecycles, process death, state restoration, background execution, back-stack management and multi-module applications. Compose experience, especially View-based integration, is preferred.
3. Concurrency & Memory Management: Hands-on experience with Coroutines, Flow, structured concurrency, thread management, race conditions, memory leaks and heap analysis.
4. Android Security: Experience with Android Keystore, encrypted storage, BiometricPrompt, certificate pinning, permissions, scoped storage and root/tamper detection.
5. Production Troubleshooting: Proven ability to independently diagnose and resolve ANRs, crashes, performance issues, startup delays, jank and device/OS compatibility issues.

Strongly Preferred:

• Android SDK/Target API upgrades and Play Store compliance.
• App Links, deep linking and Digital Asset Links.
• WebView/Chromium compatibility and native-web integrations.
• Banking, fintech, wallets or other secure, high-volume applications.
• Internal SDK, design system or framework development.
• Mobile monitoring, crash analytics and performance instrumentation.
• CI/CD pipeline ownership and native test automation.

Experience: Minimum 4+ years of hands-on commercial Android development.
