PLC Technician (m/f/d) for the Maintenance/Services/Projects (ISP)-PLC area Location Essen

For our headquarters and production site in Essen, we are looking for the earliest possible date for a PLC Technician (m/f/d) for the Maintenance/Services/Projects (ISP)-PLC area

Your profile:

• Completed training as an Elektroniker (m/f/d) for Betriebstechnik/ Automatisierungstechnik or similar, as well as further training as a staatlich geprüfter Techniker (m/f/d) in the field of Elektro-/Automatisierungstechnik
• At least two years of professional experience as a technician
• Good knowledge of PLC programming and visualization is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of EPlan is desirable
• Confident knowledge in handling MS-Office
• Independent and responsible working style
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Subject-related English skills
• Economic and result-oriented thinking and acting

Your tasks:

• Repair and maintenance of plant-wide automation systems with a focus on infrastructure systems (Siemens Steuerung)
• Rectification of system faults following fault analysis using system documentation, analysis, measuring, and programming devices
• Safety and production-related optimization of system controls
• Documentation of system and program changes in circuit diagrams, drawings, system schematics, as well as archiving current PLC programs
• Independent handling of projects in the field of PLC technology
• On-call service for the PLC area
• Ensuring spare parts availability
• Coordination / documentation of external company work
