Finance Manager

We are excited to be partnering with a global media agency based in Central London, who are looking for a Finance Manager to take ownership of day-to-day finance operations whilst working closely with the Finance Director to drive strategy and effective financial management across the business.

You will be responsible for overseeing the month-end close process whilst managing a team of two Finance Assistants, and is suited to someone with current Finance Manager experience or a qualified Accountant who is looking to take their first step up in to a leadership role, with a clear progression plan in place to transition into FD as the business continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities of the Finance Manager position will include:

• Leading and developing a team of two Finance Assistants.
• Representing the finance function in internal meetings and discussions with non-finance Directors and stakeholders.
• Leading the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Producing accurate reports, budgets, and forecasts with variance analysis to support decision-making.
• Monitoring and analysing financial performance on a monthly and annual basis.
• Overseeing project financial management through the internal Budget Sheet system, ensuring revenue is accurately recognised, costs and media spend are accrued, and project financials remain up to date.
• Reviewing and approving sales invoices and supplier purchase requests.
• Identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiency and financial processes.
• Supporting non-finance teams by constructively challenging assumptions to help achieve company financial targets.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

• Fully qualified - ACCA, ACA or CIMA
• Proven month end reporting and management accounts experience
• Sound Excel and ERP system skills
• Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting financial data to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
