Key responsibilities:
Transaction Origination & Structuring
- Prepare and issue term sheets for prospective credit transactions, ensuring terms are commercially competitive and aligned with TrialCap’s investment strategy.
- Structure credit transactions across various asset classes, optimising risk-return profiles and tailoring solutions to borrower requirements.
- Lead and manage borrower engagement throughout the transaction lifecycle, acting as the primary point of contact from initial dialogue through to credit approval and execution.
Legal& Service Provider Management
- Work closely with external legal counsel and other third-party service providers to manage and coordinate all aspects of credit transaction documentation and execution.
- Review, negotiate and oversee credit agreements, security documents and ancillary transaction documentation to ensure alignment with agreed commercial terms.
- Manage service provider relationships, scope of work and timelines to facilitate efficient and timely deal completion.
Cross-FunctionalCollaboration
- Coordinate with the equity structuring, operations and finance teams on transaction execution, ensuring alignment across work streams and smooth deal delivery.
- Partner with the operations and finance teams on borrower maintenance activities, including ongoing monitoring, covenant compliance tracking and portfolio reporting.
Experience & Profile:
- 8+ years of experience in credit structuring, leveraged finance, direct lending or a related field within investment banking, private credit or asset management.
- Proven track record of originating, structuring and executing credit transactions across the capital structure.
- Strong understanding of credit documentation,legal processes and the roles of key transaction parties.
- Experience working cross-functionally withoperations, finance and equity structuring teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with borrowers, legal counsel and internal teams.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills; proficiency in credit analysis and deal structuring tools.
