We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team and support the design, manufacturing, and quality of emergency vehicles. This role works cross-functionally with engineering, design, manufacturing, and quality teams to help ensure our ambulances are safe, well-built, and ready for the road.

*Brief Description:*
- Get hands-on with vehicle design and builds, from electrical systems to structural components
- Check wiring and termination work to help keep quality high and consistent
- Review welding work on structural and body components alongside our team, helping catch issues early
- Keep documentation and records organized so the team is ready for reviews and inspections
- Work closely with design and manufacturing teams early in the design/build process to flag potential issues before they become costly rework
- Help the team stay current on industry standards and best practices for vehicle safety
- Support internal reviews and occasional visits from outside inspectors
- Help prepare documentation as vehicles move toward final approval
*Requirements: *
- Degree in Mechanical engineering
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, or a related technical role
- Comfortable splitting time between the shop floor and documentation/desk work
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with technical drawings and documents
- Good written communication skills
- Experience in project management or coordination is a plus
- Comfortable with CAD software, Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems, and various other computer functions
- Good time management skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- **Prefence to members of Engineers Nova Scotia and/or Professional Engineers Ontario.
Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
