Trenkwalder, on behalf of its client, a large commercial company in the fashion industry, is looking for:
Senior Accountant
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the integrity of accounting books and records, in accordance with all relevant legislation
- Monitoring, preparing, drafting, and submitting financial statements
- Managing electronic services (ΑΑΔΕ, my DATA, ΓΕΜΗ, Εργάνη, etc.), submitting declarations within deadlines, and monitoring their payment
- Checking and supervising the categorization and entry of records in commercial software
- Reconciling commercial management with GL
- Supporting tax audits and tax returns
- Collaborating with external financial partners and chartered accountant offices for the continuous improvement of daily operations
- Checking and suggesting modifications to accounting systems and processes
- Developing procedures and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Planning, assigning, training, and reviewing team tasks
- Monthly reports to management ( Results – Cash Flow – Inventories )
- Participation in and monitoring of the budget for all departments
- Monitoring and processing ΕΣΠΑ programs
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent knowledge of Accounting and inventory monitoring
- University or TEI degree in Economics/Accounting direction
- Right of first-class signature
- Proven experience as a head of accounting or chief accountant in a retail company
- Excellent use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email
- Good knowledge of the English language
- Ability to produce efficient work, with emphasis on detail, under working pressure within a team framework
- Previous experience in using ERP is desirable
