Your Tasks
- Design support for the development of solutions for the implementation of test measurement points on gas turbines and their components
- Development of special designs for sensor application on gas turbines
- Adaptation and modification designs for the integration of special instrumentation
- Development of technical concepts
- Creation of model designs
- Carrying out risk and feasibility assessments
- Complete technical product definition
- Creation of 2D drawings and 3D models including PMI
- Creation of overview drawings, installation drawings, and bills of materials
- Design of cable routing
- Placement of peripheral and auxiliary systems in the test field
- Construction and maintenance of an up-to-date 3D-CAD model of the test field periphery
- Placement of the gas turbine in the test field taking infrastructure into account
- Carrying out complex collision investigations
- Coordination with manufacturing and suppliers regarding manufacturability and feasibility
- Coordination and execution of space checks on-site
Your Qualifications
- Completed studies (at least Bachelor's) in the field of mechanical engineering, preferably with a focus on design
- At least 5 years of professional experience in mechanical and plant engineering
- Mandatory design experience in plant engineering within the power plant sector
- Very good knowledge in 3D design with Siemens NX
- Knowledge of Creo is an advantage, especially for transfers or changes of individual assemblies
- Ideally experience in the design of turbomachinery
- Ideally experience in the field of measurement technology
- Experience in handling large and complex 3D assemblies
- Knowledge of 3D-PMI models
- Strong solution-oriented thinking when processing complex development projects
- Structured, independent, and responsible way of working
- Good written and spoken English skills
