Head Teacher

Responsibilities:

Academic Leadership:

Supervise teaching and learning. Check that the school curriculum meets national standards. Observe lessons and give feedback to teachers. Track student performance using test data.

Staff Management:

Hire, train, and evaluate teachers and staff. Support professional growth through workshops and mentorship. Resolve workplace conflicts and manage staff discipline.

Student Welfare and Safety:

Enforce safety and safeguarding rules to protect children. Handle major student behavior and discipline issues. Promote student mental health and well-being.

Administration and Finance:

Create and manage the school budget. Oversee facility maintenance and resource distribution. Maintain school policies and update community or governing boards.

Community Engagement:

Communicate school news and student progress to parents. Build partnerships with local organizations and authorities

Requirements:

Candidates should possess an NCE or B.Ed with 1 -2 years of work experience. Should have experience teaching primary and/or early years learners. Interested candidates should have a good understanding of the curriculum, including the Nigerian and British curricula. Early childhood and Montessori background. Train and teach other teachers.

Remuneration: NGN  100,000
