About the company

TRDP is a Danish defence-tech startup developing autonomous interceptor drone systems.

We are a small, hands-on team of 10 engineers and specialists working across robotics, software, electronics, mechanical engineering, drone building and flight testing.

Our software team currently consists of three robotics engineers with experience in mobile robotics, drones and visual odometry.

Our culture and mindset At TRDP, we believe in no bullshit, taking responsibility and getting things done. We value practical skills, direct communication, technical curiosity and people who turn ideas into working solutions.

We also believe that the things we hold dear are worth fighting for. That conviction drives our work in defence technology. We are looking for people who share that mindset and want their engineering skills to make a real difference.

We are looking for an experienced engineer who combines hands-on software development, computer vision, AI and systems architecture with the ability to guide a small engineering team.

Your background

  • Degree in robotics, software engineering, computer science or a related field.
  • Strong practical experience with robotics software and complex system integration.
  • Solid knowledge of computer vision, AI and sensor fusion.
  • Experience with software architecture and embedded systems.
  • Ability to guide other engineers while contributing directly to development.
  • Experience with C++, Python, ROS 2, PX4/ArduPilot or similar technologies is an advantage.
