About the Team Corporate Communication shapes how Traveloka is understood by the public, the press, and its own people. We own the external story and the internal one: the headlines journalists write across eleven Southeast Asian markets, the way millions of travellers feel about the brand, and the messages that reach our own teams from Jakarta to Singapore to Bangkok. We protect and build the reputation of one of the region's most recognised consumer names. You will craft narratives that travel — pitching reporters, steering a story under pressure, and turning company milestones into things people actually want to read and share. You write fast and clearly, you read a newsroom and a boardroom equally well, and you know that in a super-app moving at this speed, reputation is built one well-told story at a time. If you want your work seen across the region, this is the team. About the Job As a Director of Corporate Communication, you lead a sub-domain of the function, driving its operational priorities and their direct impact on results through a mix of team leaders and individual contributors. You hold decision-making authority on the communications issues in your domain and own the change agenda — significantly reshaping how the function works as project owner. The objectives you negotiate often conflict with parties outside Traveloka, from media to regulators, and you bring broad knowledge across several disciplines and credibility across multiple regional markets. Translate strategy into executable operational priorities and deliver results through multiple teams, leaders, and cross-functional partnerships Own reputation management for a major sub-domain, negotiating outcomes where external parties hold conflicting objectives Lead crisis communications strategy and command live response, advising the most senior leaders in real time and holding the company's line externally Build and develop the leadership layer of the function — hiring, coaching, and growing the managers, leads, and ICs you oversee Own significant change to communications operating models, playbooks, and benchmarks as project owner, and measure impact against peers Direct media strategy and senior media relationships across traditional, digital, and creator-led channels in several markets, and lead executive communications and media training for spokespersons across the leadership team Set scope for and steer senior agencies and advisors to deliver outcomes aligned to corporate objectives Job Requirements You have led communications at director level — strategy, multiple teams, and accountability for business outcomes You are a sought counsel to C-level leaders on reputation, crisis, and high-stakes messaging You have conceptualised and executed integrated PR campaigns that moved perception at scale You build and develop leaders, not just contributors, and shape the culture of a function You bring strong business acumen and a strategic command of branding, reputation, and crisis management You are fluent with reputation analytics, media intelligence platforms, and AI-driven communications tooling You operate credibly with media, government, and senior stakeholders across markets You hold a bachelor's degree, or can show equivalent experience of at least 10 years including senior leadership; advisory or top-tier agency exposure is valued You communicate with authority and nuance in English and lead with integrity and discretion under any spotlight You have led communications through a high-stakes corporate moment — IPO, major crisis, M&A, or regulatory scrutiny You have built director-level capability and operating models for a multi-market communications function You speak a second Asian language and carry established media and stakeholder networks across Southeast Asia
