Purchasing & Sourcing Manager | Zele

For an international manufacturing company, we are looking for a Purchasing & Sourcing Manager who will be responsible for the purchasing activities and sourcing strategy of multiple locations. You will get the chance to take on a key role within an international organization where purchasing has a strategic impact on the success of the company. In addition to developing purchasing strategies, you will also have the space to coach people, improve processes, and help shape the further growth of the organization.

Your tasks:

• You develop and implement purchasing and sourcing strategies that contribute to operational and financial objectives.
• You manage the entire purchasing process for multiple locations.
• You negotiate with suppliers and build sustainable partnerships.
• You work closely with operations, supply chain, and other internal departments.
• You monitor market developments and supply chain risks and take proactive action where necessary.
• You lead an international team of buyers, guide them in their development, and ensure a positive team atmosphere.
• You monitor compliance with company guidelines, procedures, and ethical standards.
• You have at least 5 years of experience in a strategic purchasing or sourcing role within a manufacturing environment.
• You have experience in managing and developing teams.
• You communicate fluently in English; knowledge of French is a strong asset.
• You are willing to travel regularly between different locations.
