SST Assistant

We are Transportes Herman SRL, an important Heavy Cargo and Hazardous Materials Transport company at a National and International level.

That is why we are currently looking for the best talent to fill the position of SST ASSISTANT.

Job Profile:

• Academic Background: Bachelor in Industrial and Mining Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering and/or related fields.
• Work Experience: 6 months in the position.

Required Knowledge:

• Intermediate Office automation.
• Basic English.
• Basic knowledge of IPERC.
• Documentary management.

Main Functions:

• Perform safety inspections at the base, yard, and vehicle units, verifying safe conditions before and after the operation.
• Supervise compliance with the use of EPP by drivers, yard personnel, and maintenance.
• Support in the identification of hazards and risk assessment (IPERC) in route, loading, unloading, and maintenance operations.
• Participate in the investigation of incidents, traffic accidents, and route events, preparing reports and corrective actions.
• Support in SST induction and re-induction for drivers, including 5-minute talks and road safety training.
• Maintain control and records of training, inspections, accidents, incidents, EPP delivery, and vehicle checklists.
• Support in the preparation of SST reports and indicators.
• Supervise order, cleanliness, and safety signaling conditions at the base and yard.

• Remuneration 1800
• Workplace: Vía Evitamiento, Cerro Colorado, Arequipa.
