Instructor (TRI/TRE) B737NG Brussels

Will you be our new Instructor (TRI/TRE) B737NG (24-32 hours p/w) in Brussels? Have you always dreamed of a career as a Captain at Transavia? Starting this year, Transavia is expanding with a new home base in Brussels, alongside Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Eindhoven. As a B737NG Instructor (TRI/TRE), you will be part of the team building this base from day one. You will fly the Boeing 737NG, and in the coming years, we will transition to the Airbus A321neo. Naturally, you will be retrained for this.

Your role as a B737NG Instructor (TRI/TRE) As an Instructor/Captain at Transavia, you will fly a wide range of challenging and dynamic routes within Europe, with destinations such as Greek islands, popular city trip destinations, and snowy airports in the far north.

You will be part of a highly professional team of more than 700 pilots. Your main responsibilities are ensuring the safety and efficiency of flight operations, providing excellent service to passengers, and working closely with the entire crew. Additionally, depending on your qualifications and experience, you will fulfill your TRI or TRE duties.

What you get Starting salary: €11,220 gross per month. In addition, you will receive a monthly extra allowance per block hour of €39 gross (can increase up to 100 plus hours per month). The salary increases by an average of €300 gross per year, excluding indexation (if applicable);

Permanent contract – taxes are paid in the Netherlands, social security in Belgium;

End-of-year bonus of 8% of the gross basic salary;

Holiday allowance;

Pension scheme with an employer contribution of 10%;

Loss of licence scheme;

Uniform, parking costs, and medical examinations are fully reimbursed by Transavia;

You will receive your final roster 35 days in advance;

20 vacation days in accordance with the Belgian accrual scheme, supplemented with 10 public holidays (pro rata);

Possibility to work part-time starting 12 months after your line check;

And last but not least: do you like to travel in your free time? After 3 months of employment, you can make use of our staff travel scheme (ID95) within Transavia, and after one year, with access to a worldwide network of airlines at attractive rates (subject to availability).

Who are you? We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria: Valid EASA ATPL with TRI or TRE rating;

Valid ME/IR (A) PBN;

Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate;

ICAO ELP 5 (during training you must upgrade to ELP 6);

Valid Boeing 737NG type rating with a minimum of 3,500 (current) total flying hours, of which at least 1,000 hours as Captain on type (of which 50 hours flown in the last 6 months);

To be able to participate safely in the swim test, you must be able to swim one full length without aids;

Valid EU passport.
