First Officer B737NG Brussel

Starting this year, Transavia is expanding with a new home base in Brussel, alongside Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Eindhoven. As a Captain, you will be part of the team building this base from day one. You will fly the Boeing 737NG and in the coming years, we will transition to the Airbus A321neo. Naturally, you will be retrained for this.

Your role as a First Officer in Brussel As a First Officer at Transavia, you are responsible for the safety and efficiency of our challenging flight operations. Together with the entire crew, you ensure a good journey for both our passengers and our company. Teamwork is central at Transavia. During every flight, you (under the command of the Captain) ensure that everyone on board experiences a safe and pleasant flight. You work closely with the rest of the crew, as well as with operational support colleagues before and during the flight, both within and outside Transavia.

As a First Officer, you will take off and land at a wide variety of airports, from Greek islands and popular city trip destinations to Norwegian fjords and snow-covered runways in Lapland. Many destinations with challenging factors such as mountainous terrain and changing weather conditions. It is truly a dream job for a pilot. What you will receive Between 500 and 2800 hours of experience on the B737: Starting salary: €5,712 gross per month. In addition, you will receive a monthly extra allowance per block hour of €22 gross (can increase up to 100 plus hours per month). The salary increases by an average of €300 gross per year, excluding index;

More than 2800 hours of experience on the B737: Starting salary: €6,324 gross per month. In addition, you will receive a monthly extra allowance per block hour of €22 gross (can increase up to 100 plus hours per month). The salary increases by an average of €300 gross per year, excluding index;

In addition, we offer: Permanent contract – taxes are paid in the Netherlands, social security in Belgium;

Year-end bonus of 8% of the gross basic salary;

Holiday allowance;

Pension scheme with an employer contribution of 10%;;

Loss of licence scheme;

Uniform, parking costs, and medical examinations are fully reimbursed by Transavia;

You will receive your final roster 35 days in advance;

20 vacation days in accordance with the Belgian accrual system, supplemented with 10 public holidays (pro rata);

Good guidance in your further development as a pilot;

And last but not least: do you like to travel in your free time? After 3 months of employment, you can make use of our staff travel scheme (ID95) within Transavia, and after one year, with access to a worldwide network of airlines at attractive rates (subject to availability).

Who are you? We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria: Valid Boeing 737NG type rating with a minimum of 500 (current) hours as First Officer on type, of which 50 hours were flown in the last 6 months;

Valid EASA (frozen) ATPL;

Valid ME/IR (A) PBN;

Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate;

Minimum ICAO ELP 5 at the time of application (ELP 6 required before starting at Transavia);

MCC certificate;

Advanced UPRT certificate (if license issued after 20-12-2021);

To be able to participate safely in the wet drill, you must be able to swim one full length without aids;

Valid EU passport.
