Captain B737NG Brussel

Then we would love to meet you. For our new base in Brussel, we are looking for experienced Captains on the Boeing 737NG.

Starting this year, Transavia is expanding with a new home base in Brussel, alongside Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Eindhoven. As Captain, you will be part of the team building this base from day one. You will fly the Boeing 737NG, and in the coming years, we will transition to the Airbus A321neo. Naturally, you will be retrained for this.

Your role as Captain During the startup phase of our Brussel base, you will work with a team of approximately 60 pilots. A close-knit, professional group, carefully assembled based on experience, responsibility, and a hands-on mentality.

As Captain, you are the point of contact in the cockpit. You bear ultimate responsibility for a safe and smooth operation and, together with your crew, ensure a pleasant, professional atmosphere on board. You combine craftsmanship with a practical attitude and naturally bring colleagues along in your way of working.

You will fly to diverse destinations within Europe: from sunny islands to busy urban airports. The variation in routes, weather conditions, and airfields makes every day different. This requires sharpness, experience, and teamwork—exactly what gives you energy.

What you get Starting salary: €11,220 gross per month. In addition, you will receive a monthly extra allowance per block hour of €39 gross (can increase up to 100 plus hours per month). The salary increases by an average of €300 gross per year, excluding indexation (if applicable);

Permanent contract – taxes are paid in the Netherlands, social security in Belgium;

End-of-year bonus of 8% of the gross basic salary;

Holiday allowance;

Pension scheme with an employer contribution of 10%;

Loss of licence scheme;

Uniform, parking costs, and medical examinations are fully reimbursed by Transavia;

You will receive your final roster 35 days in advance;

20 vacation days in accordance with the Belgian accrual scheme, supplemented with 10 public holidays (pro rata);

Possibility to work part-time starting 12 months after your line check;

And last but not least: do you like to travel in your free time? After 3 months of employment, you can make use of our staff travel scheme (ID95) within Transavia, and after one year, with access to a worldwide network of airlines at attractive rates (subject to availability).

Who are you? We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria: Valid EASA ATPL;

Valid ME/IR (A) PBN;

Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate;

Minimum ICAO ELP 5 at the time of application (please note: ELP 6 is required before starting employment at Transavia);

MCC certificate;

Advanced UPRT certificate (if the license was issued after 20-12-2021);

Valid Boeing 737NG type rating with a minimum of 1000 (current) hours as Captain on type, of which 50 hours in the last 6 months;

Minimum 3500 total flying hours on multi-engine aircraft;

To safely participate in the wet drill, you must be able to swim one full length without aids;

Valid EU passport.
