Telecom Architect (M/F)

Your mission Within the Technical Department, you are the reference for the company's network architecture. You lead studies from the pre-project phase to full delivery and design the technical roadmap in accordance with the company's strategy. You work primarily with experts from different components, business teams, partners, and suppliers, and you influence projects to align them with the roadmap. In this context, you will be required to: Master voice core architectures (HSS/HLR, GMSC, SBC, IMS…), data core (PGW, PCRF, OCS…) and services (SMSC, application servers…) of mobile networks, from 2G to 5G Stand Alone, and familiarize yourself with the specificities of the company's networks.

Validate the consistency, robustness, and scalability of the current architecture, then propose evolutions that will set a target shared with business teams and telecom experts, built from commercial and technical strategies.

Define, for each project, the costs and project phases in order to secure commitments with the best level of knowledge and to avoid any unnecessary extra costs.

Write HLDs and technically guide teams during implementation, in close collaboration with project managers.

Define technical architecture standards and write the associated documentation, ensuring the security, availability, and performance of solutions, in accordance with our commitments (notably ISO 27001 certification).

Bring forward technical choices to be decided by allowing different stakeholders to express themselves and guaranteeing everyone's buy-in.

Follow industry evolutions, intervene on pre-sales missions with clients, suppliers, partners, and prospects, and contribute to the development of business cases.

Your profile With a background in software or telecom engineering, you have at least 8 years of experience in telecommunications, particularly in mobile network core architecture and within an equipment manufacturer. You are familiar with the product and service ranges of telecom core network platform manufacturers (Nokia, Ericsson, Huawei, Affirmed…).

You communicate with ease both orally and in writing with all stakeholders in the company.

Your experience, your understanding of technologies, and your group facilitation skills make you a reference among your colleagues.

Your sense of service and team spirit allow you to be a structured source of proposals.

You are organized, while being comfortable in a very dynamic environment.

Fluency in English is indispensable, ideally in a multicultural setting.
