Fabrication Drafter

Job Summary Produce detailed shop and as-built drawings for metal or interior fitting-out fabrication projects, ensuring technical compliance and coordination with engineers and project teams to support accurate manufacturing and production. Responsibilities Translate engineer sketches and specifications into detailed 2D and 3D manufacturing drawings for fabrication teams Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, material constraints, and safety regulations to maintain quality and safety Update and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers, project managers, and clients to reflect project changes accurately Prepare and manage Bills of Materials (BOM) using ERP systems to support production planning and material procurement Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, proficiently to create and modify technical drawings Required competencies and certifications Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Design, or equivalent 1–5+ years of experience in manufacturing, ACMV, or fabrication environments
