Your tasks

• New Product Research and Development (Product R&D)

1. Design and develop acoustic materials/systems: Invent, research, and design new acoustic panels, soundproof ceilings, sound-absorbing walls, and sound partition systems to meet requirements in terms of acoustic engineering, aesthetics, and safety (e.g., fire resistance, moisture resistance).
2. Acoustic testing and measurement: Conduct tests and evaluate sound insulation performance (STC / R'w) and sound absorption (NRC / αw) both at the laboratory level (Lab Test) and in practical application (Mock-up System).
3. Develop new technologies and innovations: Study trends in new materials, such as Sustainable/Recycled Materials or new sound-absorbing structures.

• Improvement and expansion of existing products

1. Increase efficiency and reduce costs: Improve existing structures or raw materials to achieve higher efficiency while reducing or maintaining production costs.
2. Design systems based on customer requirements: Provide technical consultation and design specialized solutions in collaboration with the design/engineering team for special projects with complex acoustic requirements.

• Testing and Standardization (Standardization & Compliance)

1. Obtain certifications: Coordinate with external testing institutes (e.g., MTEC, Chula, or international institutes) for testing according to international standards.
2. Prepare technical documentation: Prepare Technical Data Sheets (TDS), installation manuals, and acoustic test reports to support the sales and engineering teams.

• Technical support and knowledge management

1. Internal knowledge transfer: Act as an expert to provide advice and conduct training on acoustic technology for the Sales, Presales, and installation teams.
2. Analyze competitors and market trends: Monitor global soundproof wall and ceiling technologies to apply to Trandar products.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, Acoustic Engineering/Acoustics, Interior Architecture, Building Technology, or (Material Science or Physics).
2. Open to female colleagues aged not exceeding 30 years.
3. 1-2 years or more of experience in construction material product development, wall/ceiling systems, architectural work, or acoustic testing.
4. Direct experience with Acoustic Panel, Insulation, Drywall System, or Acoustic Board will be given special consideration.
5. Technical Skills: Knowledge of acoustics, use of acoustic equipment and software, drafting/design software, and construction material standards.
6. Working skills and personality: Analytical & Problem-Solving, Innovative Thinking, Communication Skills.
7. Good communication skills in English or Chinese: Ability to read research articles, international standard documents, and communicate with international testing institutes or suppliers.
