Year 1 Teaching Assistant - Central Stockport Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a resilient and experienced Teaching Assistant for a long-term, full-time position in a mainstream Year 1 classroom in Central Stockport, starting after October Half Term.
Your tasks
- Supporting children with SEND within a mainstream Year 1 classroom.
- Providing tailored support to help pupils access learning and develop their confidence.
- Working closely with the class teacher to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
The Ideal Candidate
- Has previous experience supporting children with SEND.
- Is resilient, patient and confident managing challenging situations.
- Is passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning.
