Urgent SEN Teaching Assistant - Chester

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for multiple enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistants to join a specialist school in the Chester area , with an urgent start on Monday 28th September .

We have a number of opportunities available, including both 1:1 and class-based Teaching Assistant positions .

The Role

You will be supporting children and young people with a range of special educational needs and additional needs , helping them to access learning and develop their confidence, independence and social skills.

Depending on the position, you may be:

• Providing 1:1 support to an individual pupil
• Working as part of a classroom support team
• Supporting pupils with additional and complex needs
• Helping pupils engage with lessons and activities
• Supporting emotional, behavioural and social development
• Working closely with teachers and other support staff
• Helping create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment

What We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from candidates with experience in:

• SEN/SEND settings
• Schools or education
• 1:1 pupil support
• Autism or additional needs
• Behavioural or pastoral support
• Care or support work
• Youth work or residential settings

Relevant transferable experience will also be considered - you don't necessarily need to have worked as a Teaching Assistant previously.
