School Attendance Officer

Attendance Officer - Northamptonshire Temporary Role | Starting After Half Term Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking an organised, proactive and reliable Attendance Officer to join a school in Northamptonshire on a temporary basis, starting after half term. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a busy school environment and wants to make a positive contribution to pupils' education and wellbeing. The Role: Monitoring and recording pupil attendance and punctuality.

Maintaining accurate attendance records and updating school systems.

Supporting the school with attendance-related administration and enquiries.

Communicating professionally with parents, carers and school staff regarding attendance matters.

Helping to identify attendance concerns and ensuring information is recorded and followed up appropriately.

Providing general administrative support to the wider school team when required.

The Ideal Candidate: Has strong administrative and organisational skills.

Can manage competing priorities and work efficiently in a busy environment.

Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Is confident using IT systems and maintaining accurate records.

Is reliable, proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Has previous school attendance experience or relevant training (desirable, but not essential).
