First Aid Administrator - Southport Location: Southport Start Date: Immediate Contract: Full-Time, 4 Weeks Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am - 3:10pm

First Aid Trained Administrator Required - Immediate Start

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a First Aid Trained Administrator to join a secondary school in Southport for an immediate start.

This is a full-time, four-week temporary position , working Monday to Friday from 8:15am to 3:10pm .

The successful candidate will support the medical and welfare needs of students , including providing basic first aid , responding to students who become unwell or injured, and administering medication in line with school procedures and appropriate training .

The Role

• Provide basic first aid to students throughout the school day
• Respond appropriately to minor injuries, illness and student medical needs
• Administer prescribed medication in accordance with school policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate records of medication administered and first aid treatment
• Support students with ongoing medical needs
• Communicate with parents/carers regarding student medical needs when required
• Ensure first aid supplies and medical equipment are appropriately maintained
• Deal calmly and confidently with students who are unwell or injured
• Provide some general administrative support relating to student welfare and medical records

The Ideal Candidate

• First Aid trained with a current and relevant qualification
• Experience of administering medication
• Experience working with children or young people
• Calm, caring and confident when dealing with students
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently
• Fully available for the full four-week assignment
• Available to start immediately
• Must hold their own Enhanced Child Workforce DBS
