As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise students in the absence of their regular teacher, ensuring that lessons run smoothly and students remain focused on their learning.

• Supervise classes across a range of secondary school subjects.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson instructions and learning activities.
• Maintain good classroom behaviour and manage student engagement.
• Ensure students complete assigned work in a positive learning environment.
• Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures and behaviour guidelines.
• Report any issues to the appropriate member of school staff.

Requirements

Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available Are you confident, reliable and passionate about supporting young people in education? We are looking for enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Wolverhampton.

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• A confident, professional and approachable manner.
• The ability to work independently and adapt to different situations.
• A genuine interest in supporting young people's education.
• Previous experience working with children or in a school is desirable but not essential.
• A relevant qualification or degree may be advantageous but is not always required.
