Flexible Part-Time Hours | Morning & Afterschool Club | September Start Are you looking for a rewarding role supporting children in a friendly primary school environment? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and caring Before & After School Club Staff Member to join a lovely village primary school close to Loughborough . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and is looking for consistent part-time hours around other commitments. The role involves working 7:30am - 8:45am in the morning and then returning to school for the afterschool club from 3:15pm - 6:00pm . The Role As a Before & After School Club Staff Member, you'll play an important role in providing a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for children before and after the school day. Responsibilities may include: Supervising children during the before-school and after-school sessions. Providing a range of fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities. Supporting children with play, games, arts and crafts, and outdoor activities. Ensuring children are safe, happy, and well cared for at all times. Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging children to interact positively with their peers. Supporting with snack and refreshment provision during the afterschool club. Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment. Communicating effectively with school staff and parents/carers where appropriate. Following the school's safeguarding and behaviour policies. The hours for this role are: Morning Club: 7:30am - 8:45am Afterschool Club: 3:15pm - 6:00pm Monday to Friday Why Choose Tradewind Recruitment? We're Looking For We're keen to hear from candidates who have: Experience working with children in any capacity. Experience within a school, nursery, childcare, sports, youth work or similar environment is beneficial but not essential. A positive, enthusiastic and caring approach. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to engage children in fun and appropriate activities. A responsible and reliable approach to safeguarding and child welfare. The ability to work effectively as part of a team. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one. Why Work in a Before & After School Club?
