Tracksuit exists to help marketers prove their brand building is working. We give teams the data they need to make smarter decisions, convince stakeholders, defend budgets, and track their progress. The brand tracking industry is dominated by 100 page reports, static data and big price tags. We're doing things differently by being built for the modern marketer: always on, accessible, and approachable. We're now tracking more than 1,000 brands across 25 countries globally. With offices in Auckland, Sydney, London and New York City, we're scaling fast with a brilliant team of collaborative and ambitious humans. Our culture is defined by "high care, high performance". We strive to be the best and look after each other while we do it. This role We're hiring a Talent Partner to join our Talent team based in Sydney or Auckland. You'll own recruiting outcomes for roles predominantly across New Zealand and Australia, with some US and UK hiring. Partnering with hiring managers across Customer, Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, Product and Engineering. Finding and hiring people who help us towards our mission of having our data in every boardroom by 2030. You'll be trusted to make the calls that come with that: defining the problem when it's fuzzy, weighing the trade-offs, and getting to a decision with confidence. You'll also help shape how our Talent team works as we grow, because we're building a Talent function that uses AI well and keeps getting better at how it works, not just filling the next role. No two weeks look the same. One day you're headhunting a senior marketer, the next you're coaching a hiring manager on a stronger interview plan, or testing a new way to automate the admin that slows everyone down. If you're a people obsessed, commercially minded Talent Partner who obsesses over candidate experience, loves the Talent craft, and likes improving the system as much as running it, this one's for you.

What you'll actually do Find and hire amazing humans

Own full cycle recruiting for roles predominantly across New Zealand and Australia, with some US and UK roles. From job posting and sourcing through to interviewing, negotiating offers, and drawing up contracts. You own the outcome, not just the process.

Partner with hiring managers to understand what they need, write compelling job descriptions and ads, and coach them towards consistent, high quality hiring. That includes challenging constructively, with data, when scope, bar, or timelines need a rethink.

Build a strong pipeline of future talent through proactive sourcing across sourcing platforms, professional networks, and the local tech, startup, and marketing communities.

Make sure every candidate has a warm, clear, respectful experience, including the ones who don't get the role.

Build diverse shortlists and run structured, fair processes that give everyone a real shot.

Work AI first

Use AI day to day to source, draft comms, and cut the admin that gets between you and people.

Make the most of Ashby and our data, tracking and analysing what's happening in the funnel so decisions are informed, not guessed.

Try new tools and workflows, keep what works, and share it with the rest of the team.

Continuous Improvement

Alongside the day to day work, you'll have time to make the way we hire better, like improving processes, automating the clunky bits, and helping shape our employer brand.

Help grow our incredible employer brand that's engaging and appealing, through events, social media, partnerships, and other initiatives, working alongside our People and Marketing teams.

Spot what's clunky and fix it. If a process could be better, make it better. That's the Tracksuit way.

What success looks like You'll be measured on time to hire, offer acceptance rate, the quality of the people you bring in (how they’re tracking at six months) and how confident hiring managers feel in the process and the people you bring in. We'll look at these together, openly, and use them to decide where to focus.

What makes this role exciting Markets you may not know: Some roles will be in markets and talent pools that are new to you. You'll be learning fast, asking good questions, and building local knowledge as you go, with the team behind you.

High velocity: We're growing quickly, so there are often lots of roles open at once. You'll balance priorities, make good calls with the information you have, and keep the candidate experience exceptional while moving at pace.

Ambiguity and self direction: Not every situation has a playbook, and you'll often be shaping the approach yourself. You'll have your Talent Lead and team to lean on, and you'll be trusted to define the problem, make a call, and learn from how it goes.

You'll thrive here if You're a people person to your core: You build relationships naturally with candidates and hiring managers. You're warm, approachable, and genuinely care about people's experience.

You're fluent with AI: You already use it to work smarter, and you're excited to keep finding better ways of doing things.

You communicate with empathy: Most candidates won't get the role. You treat every one of them with respect, and help keep Tracksuit's reputation as an incredible place to work.

You're organised and detail obsessed: You juggle lots of roles and relationships without dropping balls. You bring structure without bureaucracy.

You're entrepreneurial: You see a clunky process and fix it, rather than wait for someone to ask.

You're happy to get stuck in, whatever the task: One minute you're interviewing a senior hire, the next you're refining a process or reworking a template.

Ownership and judgement: you've been accountable for hiring outcomes, not just a process, and you can take an ambiguous problem, weigh the trade-offs, and land on a decision with confidence. Be ready to talk us through a recent hire where the right call wasn't obvious.

A strong network in the NZ or Australian tech and startup communities: most of our hiring is here. Experience recruiting in the US or UK is a bonus, as we have some roles there.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills: you build relationships at every level of the organisation.

Proficiency with ATS platforms and recruitment tools: ideally Ashby and LinkedIn Recruiter.
