Demand Planning and Distribution Professional

We are looking for a professional in engineering, administration, or related fields, who will be responsible for guaranteeing availability, correct planning, and efficient management of the demand for sporting goods, ensuring that our teams and customers always find the products they need.
Responsibilities and attributions
What are the functions of this role?
- Sport piloting and local growth: Dynamically build and adjust accurate sales forecasts by store and annual stock projections, anticipating local trends (weather, events, holidays) and collaborating with commercial teams.
- Collaborate with sales, logistics, and other members of the supply chain to align demand forecasts with supply capacity.
- Build and direct local availability tactics: Define and execute availability plans at a granular level (by product, season, and store format), managing replenishment parameters and scarcity (shortage) strategy.
- Drive stock efficiency: Process daily inventory alerts (out-of-stocks, delays, errors), optimize replenishment to minimize excesses, and manage the exit of low-rotation products (slow-moving or end of season).
- Develop periodic reports to monitor demand performance and propose process improvements.
- Use data analysis tools and ERP systems to improve projection accuracy and support decision-making. Provide innovative ideas to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the planning process.
Requirements and qualifications
What should you keep in mind when applying?
- Education: University Professional in foreign trade, international business, business administration, industrial engineering, logistics, or related fields. Professional with 1 or 2 years of experience in commercial management and/or supply chain. Basic knowledge of data analysis and handling of office tools (intermediate/advanced Excel); experience in planning systems (ERP, SAP, etc.) is preferred.
- Interest in the sports sector and willingness to learn and grow within a company that values collaboration and professional development.
- Teamwork skills, critical thinking, decision-making, effective communication, proactivity, and organization. Language: Intermediate/advanced English.
