Job role: Senior Management Accountant (Grants)

Location: Hertfordshire / North London Contract: Temporary up to 6 months Pay rate: £28.59 per hour plus holiday

We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join a respected organisation on an interim basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong management accounting and grant funding experience to support a busy finance team during a key period.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts and budgets.
• Provide financial analysis and business partnering support to budget holders.
• Monitor and report on grant-funded projects and restricted funding streams.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and year-end processes.
• Ensure compliance with funding requirements and financial controls.
• Assist with financial planning and process improvement initiatives.

About You

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven management accounting experience.
• Essential experience managing grant funding and grant reporting.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and business partnering skills.
• Confident using Excel and finance systems.
• Able to work independently and build effective stakeholder relationships.
