Designer for development of electrical systems
As an electrical designer at Toyota Material Handling Europe, you will get the chance to work with the development of electrical systems together with experienced colleagues and follow the entire development journey - from idea to finished product. As an electrical designer with us, you will work with:
Development of requirement specifications for electrical components Technical dialogue and collaboration with suppliers Modeling and wiring in Catia Harness Collaboration with internal functions such as quality, purchasing, and production
In this role, you are part of a module group within R&D in Mjölby that is responsible for the development of electrical systems in both new development projects and the further development of existing products. The module group currently consists of 13 people who work closely together in a team-based working method, organized into three development teams. The development teams drive and are responsible for the development of electrical systems, for example electrical components, signal and power wiring, in close collaboration with other teams within R&D such as software, mechatronics, and mechanical design. The team follows the entire development chain - from idea to implementation. The software we use are Catia V5, Matrix, and SEE Electrical Expert.

Furthermore, we would like you to have:
A degree as a university engineer in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or electrical power. Alternatively, that you have a high school/vocational education combined with several years of professional experience as an electrical designer, electrical assembler, or electrical installer. Knowledge of CAD Good English in speech and writing
