Quality Engineer - Transport to Toyota VLC Malmö

Vehicle Logistics Group (VLG) is responsible for the distribution of cars to our European dealers as well as global export of cars manufactured in Europe.
These cars arrive from various production units to our strategically located Logistics Centers. Here, the cars are stored, modified, inspected, and transported to the next delivery point (port, dealer, etc.) This work is performed by external personnel and is led by a small team from Toyota that ensures the operations at the Logistics Center flow efficiently.
Within this team, you will be responsible for ensuring and developing the safety/quality work at the terminal in Malmö harbor regarding vehicle inspection before delivery (PDI) and vehicle loading (truck, train, ship).
You will identify and implement improvements within your area of responsibility by:
.Creating standardized work processes (e.g., through daily meetings and work instructions) .Improving Toyota's Safety & Quality Standards in close cooperation with our logistics partners. .Managing corrections in connection with vehicle inspections before delivery (PDI) including administration and case management. .Conducting regular Safety & Quality audits. .Ensuring that Safety & Quality issues are identified and improved on a daily basis. .Summarizing and reporting key KPIs (Safety, Quality) to Toyota's management along with reporting of improvement actions. .Collaborating and being active in knowledge exchange with other European Logistics Centers.
You have a university degree in engineering or economics and a few years of relevant work experience within quality/safety/logistics. Your personal style is characterized by a positive drive, flexibility, good analytical ability, and a high level of ambition. To thrive and succeed with us, a communicative and unpretentious demeanor, a structured and methodical way of working, as well as good knowledge of Microsoft Excel facilitates. You are proficient in our corporate language, English, in speech and writing.
