Jr. Buyer

Functions:

• Search for new suppliers that can meet needs, ensuring they comply in terms of quality and price.
• Coordinate appointments with suppliers and fairs abroad.
• Execute commercial actions with Suppliers and Marketing for activations, events, and purchase dynamics.
• Collaborate in the definition of strategies that allow for the selection of the correct products for the stores.
• Schedule the arrival of new merchandise, planning entries by controlling quantity and capacity.
• Coordinate the manufacturing of private labels and licenses with the designer.
• Maintain control and follow-up of the Open To Buy (purchasing budget).
• Detect opportunities for improvement in stores according to the *Sales Compliance and ROS* report.
• Analyze the CEDIS inventory to reinforce the stores.
• Analyze reports such as: Brand Ranking, Variation, Trend, Inventory Turnover, Promotion Effectiveness, and Life Cycle.
• Analyze coverage and create purchase suggestions for replenishment or new products (international or national).
• Analyze and request the creation of inventory movement requests or returns to suppliers, according to inter-base policies.
• Analyze profit margins and adjust prices or plan promotions or special sales.
• Assemble collections of styles by brand for correct distribution to the sales floor.
• Execute and follow up on actions according to the Marketing plan.
• Negotiation of Credit Notes for applied discounts or commercial agreements.

Requirements

Completed studies in International Business, International Trade, Industrial Engineering, or related careers. 1 to 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, retail, inventory planning, or commercial areas. Experience working with suppliers and managing purchase orders. Desirable experience in department stores, supermarkets, or consumer goods companies. Advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis). Management of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar). Analysis of sales, margins, and profitability. Inventory management and product replenishment. Preparation and follow-up of purchase orders. Purchasing indicators (sell through, inventory coverage, turnover, OTIF, among others). English language proficiency.
