Children's residential Unit Manager

Essential Requirements:

To manage 2 Children’s and Transitional Homes, so that the physical, emotional and safety needs of children are protected and promoted, working within the Government Guidance, the City Council’s core values and strategic aims and the Department’s policies and procedures in order to meet National Standards and achieve good outcomes. Full driving licence, access to a vehicle and willingness to travel both inside and outside the council area as required. Meets Children’s Homes Regulations April 2015 including the quality standards. Promotes children’s welfare and safeguards their wellbeing Creates a positive physical and emotional environment where children can achieve their potential Need to have a diploma 3 in Residential child care or equivalent. Willingness to work out of hours, be on call on occassions, sleep in if staffing shortages
