Job description:

Job Overview: We are currently seeking a Cleaner to join our team. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in various facilities. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and break rooms
• Follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment

Skills:

• Strong time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
• Ability to operate power tools and hand tools for cleaning purposes
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices
• Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and customers
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for moving furniture or equipment
• Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred
• Customer service skills to address any concerns or requests from customers
