Assistant Manager - Weaving Department

1. Production Strategy & Execution:

Manage and drive production targets by overseeing and controlling all weaving processes to push production volume to meet the Production Plan with maximum efficiency and on-time delivery.

1. Quality Improvement & Defect Management:

Monitor and perform in-depth analysis of C-Grade issues to identify Root Causes, while establishing systematic corrective and proactive preventive measures to sustainably reduce defect rates.

1. Advanced Quality Assurance:

Strictly control, inspect, and analyze the quality of produced fabric at every stage to ensure products meet specified standards and achieve maximum satisfaction.

1. IATF 16949 Compliance:

Supervise, control, and develop departmental work processes to strictly comply with IATF 16949 automotive quality management system requirements, including supporting documentation and preparing for both internal and external Audits.

1. Machine & Maintenance Optimization:

Oversee the operation of weaving machines and fabric inspection machines to ensure maximum efficiency, while elevating cleaning and Preventive Maintenance standards to reduce Downtime.

1. Data-Driven Reporting:

Collect and analyze quality inspection data and machine issues to present summary reports and propose rapid, accurate solutions to management.

1. Safety Leadership & Compliance:

Lead the creation of a Safety Culture within the department, while ensuring all employees strictly follow safety standards and Standard Operation Procedure.

1. Environmental & Sustainability Initiatives:

Promote and integrate Environmental Awareness into the weaving process, while proposing and implementing concrete eco-friendly practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other fields related to industrial management.
• At least 7-10 years of experience in Manufacturing, with at least 3-5 years of experience at a Managerial Level or controlling large-scale production lines.
• Direct experience in the textile industry (Weaving process) or the automotive parts industry (Automotive / Airbag) will be given special consideration.
• Automotive Quality Standards (IATF 16949): Knowledge and experience in maintaining IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 systems, including understanding of Automotive Core Tools (e.g., FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA).
• Production and Quality Management: Expertise in production planning and using in-depth quality problem-solving tools (e.g., 8D Report, Why-Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagram) to reduce defects (C-Grade).
• Machine Management: Understanding of Preventive Maintenance systems.
• Strategic Leadership: Visionary ability to lead teams, drive KPIs, and effectively motivate subordinates.
• Decision Making and Problem Solving: Analytical thinking skills with the ability to make decisive and accurate decisions when facing immediate problems or under pressure.
• Communication and Coordination: Excellent communication skills, able to present analytical data to management and coordinate effectively across departments.
• Good command of English (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing) for report preparation, presentations, and supporting Audits from customers or external agencies.
