Purchasing Category Analyst

We are looking for a highly analytical, results-oriented professional with solid negotiation skills to join our team. The position will be responsible for managing purchasing processes, analyzing performance indicators, identifying optimization opportunities, and contributing to the fulfillment of the strategic objectives of the procurement area.

Responsibilities:

• Manage purchasing and procurement processes in accordance with corporate policies.
• Negotiate with national and international suppliers seeking the best commercial conditions.
• Analyze and monitor management indicators (KPIs) for decision-making.
• Perform data analysis and identify improvement opportunities in costs and processes.
• Follow up on price deviations and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare executive reports and performance analysis using analytical tools.
• Participate in supply chain optimization and supplier management initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal areas to ensure the timely availability of goods and services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Purchasing, International Business, or related fields.
• Experience in purchasing management, supply, or procurement.
• Solid negotiation skills and supplier management.
• Experience in data analysis and development of management indicators (KPIs).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in cost analysis and monitoring price deviations.
• Intermediate or advanced level of English (oral and written).
• Analytical capacity, results orientation, and excellent organization.

Will Be Considered a Plus

• Experience in SAP.
• Knowledge and application of INCOTERMS.
• Experience in international purchasing.
• Knowledge of data analysis tools and information visualization.
