Description Of Job

Plan and implent slope stability monitoring strategies and report all geo-technical hazards. Maintain the geo-technical database. Geo-technical logging of diamond drill holes. Liaise with mine production to ensure geo-technical design parameters are achieved. Review the design slopes parameters. Assist with geological mapping in the pit. Assist the Chief Mine Geologist in departmental budgeting. Any other assigned duties

Qualification Required & Experience

Minimum 5 years practical experience in geo-technical engineering. Good command of spoken and written English. Good computer skills – 3D Mining Software (preferably Surpac), specialist geo-technical software. Degree in Geology or related discipline with (minimum requirement).
