MATERIAL HANDLER
Location: Irapuato, Guanajuato Industry: Automotive Department: Supply Chain
What will your objective be?
To safely and timely perform movements of materials, finished product, and empty equipment between warehouses, assembly lines, and shipments, as well as participating in the loading and unloading of customer and supplier units.
Main activities:
- Perform physical and system movements of materials, containers, and racks.
- Supply materials from warehouses to production lines.
- Move finished product to storage and shipments.
- Perform movements via scanner: material requests, collections, and transfers.
- Support the prevention of material shortages.
- Locate and collect materials according to the Infor LN system.
- Apply the FIFO concept (First In – First Out).
- Support cycle counts and inventories.
- Perform labeling and scanning activities.
- Transport scrap containers and ensure their correct declaration.
- Properly operate forklifts, scanners, and radios.
- Maintain mobile equipment in good condition and clean.
- Comply with safety procedures and controls.
Requirements:
Experience:
- 1 year in a similar position.
- 1 year in forklift operation.

Important: The position requires mobility within production lines and warehouses, as well as occasionally performing activities that involve lifting up to 30 pounds (approx. 13.6 kg).
