Experience in technical purchasing is not a must – what is more important to us is your motivation and your willingness to familiarize yourself with new topics.

Employee in Technical Purchasing (30 - 40 hrs/week)

Location: Georgensgmünd, Employment: Part-time

Tasks

• Requesting and evaluating offers as well as supporting price and contract negotiations
• Operative order processing and ensuring timely material supply
• Material requirements planning considering requirements and consumption
• Maintenance of material and supplier master data
• Delivery date tracking as well as close coordination with the relevant departments
• Collaboration in the support and evaluation of our suppliers
• Processing of warehouse bookings, returns, and warranty cases
• Checking and approving accounts payable invoices

Requirements and Skills

• Completed technical training in a metal profession or commercial training with extensive technical knowledge from practical experience
• Technical understanding and interest in our products and manufacturing processes
• Enjoyment in familiarizing yourself with new topics and taking on responsibility
• A structured, independent, and reliable way of working
• Strong communication skills and negotiation skills
• Confident use of MS Office applications and user knowledge in an ERP system
• English skills in speaking and writing
