Sales Specialist - Swiss German Speaking (w/m/d)
Do you want a job with purpose and a sustainable effect on the environment and want to become part of our fantastic team? Then you've come to the right place!
Our mission at Too Good To Go is to inspire and empower people day after day to save food from being wasted. For this, we have a simple solution ready: The Too Good To Go app connects supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, cafés, canteens, and hotels with our users, who can pick up surplus food at a discounted price. In this way, we ensure that good food ends up on the plate instead of in the bin.
Too Good To Go has set itself the goal of being a humanly, economically, and socially sustainable company. For this, we have already been certified as a B-Corp company.
Location: Vienna, Austria (supporting Switzerland)
Language skills: For this role, you need fluent Swiss German skills as well as very good English skills. Other languages, especially French and Italian, are an advantage.
Your role in our team:
You are responsible for inspiring new and interesting partners with our concept day after day, thereby expanding the range of businesses in the app and thus making the world a little bit better – one rescued meal at a time!
- You acquire new potential partners for our app in Austria and Switzerland and recruit independent or small chains of restaurants, cafés, bakeries, and food retailers within your territory (95% telesales and 5% active acquisition on the street).
- You introduce new partners to the Too Good To Go concept as well as to the use of the app and advise them on finding the best possible solution for surplus food.
- You conscientiously maintain your activities in our CRM system Salesforce, place great importance on pipeline hygiene, and independently keep an eye on your goals.
- You cooperate closely with the rest of the sales team and are in continuous exchange with other departments (e.g., Marketing or Account Management) to jointly identify further potential businesses and increase the brand awareness of Too Good To Go in Austria and Switzerland.
- You take responsibility for the further development of your territory, whether in Austria and/or Switzerland.
What you bring to the table:
- You work goal-oriented and bring the willingness to contribute with full commitment to achieving your goals.
- You have initial experience in sales – ideally in cold calling – and are ready to prove yourself anew every day.
- You make phone calls to potential partner businesses with the clear goal of bringing them on board. And you are just as ready to convince new partners out on the street – direct, binding, convincing.
- You approach people authentically, openly, and warmly and have a confident and proactive manner.
- You can easily manage many contacts at the same time and do not shy away from rejections. This job requires diligence, ambition, and commitment.
- You possess a high degree of independence, structure, and affinity for numbers and conscientiously ensure transparent and orderly tracking of your work. Experience in pipeline management (with Salesforce) is a plus.
- You have a decent drive and like to challenge yourself to exceed your monthly sales targets.
- You enjoy making phone calls and being actively in contact with customers throughout the day.
- You identify with our purpose – but you know: impact only comes with results.
- You have very good Swiss German skills and good English skills (B2). Other language skills are a plus, but not a must.
What awaits you with us:
- The chance to actively help shape a fast-growing and internationally operating Social Impact Scale-up with B-Corp certification.
- A very attractive bonus model (we pay for performance!) as well as a good fixed salary.
