Creative Traffic Manager
Why we are here Together, we can fight exploitation in cocoa. Full stop. Tony's is an impact company that makes chocolate, not a chocolate company that makes an impact. With incredibly tasty chocolate, we lead by example, demonstrating that ethical practices and success can go hand in hand. Through Tony's Open Chain (TOC), mission allies like Albert Heijn, Ben & Jerry's, Jokolade, and Aldi have embraced a fairer, more transparent supply chain for their chocolate too.
What you will do We are looking for a Creative Traffic Manager to be the operational heartbeat of our Creative team: a strategic right hand to the Global Head of Creative, the person who holds the overview, and a trusted enabler for the entire team. You will be the central connector, with full visibility of what is happening across the team, spotting overlaps, resolving bottlenecks, and bringing clarity and flow so the team can deliver brilliant work, on time, every time. This role goes beyond day-to-day operations. You will lead projects that improve how the team collaborates, grows, and delivers, laying the foundations for a world-class creative function. If you are a natural organiser with a creative soul who thrives in a fast-paced, sometimes chaotic environment and loves building systems that empower creativity rather than constrain it, this is your role. The position is part of the Brand & Communications team and reports to the Global Head of Creative.
All wrapped up Own creative resourcing and workflow: Manage the creative team's resourcing plan, ensuring the right people are on the right projects at the right time. Oversee requests and stakeholder management in ClickUp and manage timelines in Harvest and other tools as needed.
Lead and optimise creative processes: Drive operational excellence by continuously improving creative workflows, tools, and processes to increase efficiency and clarity across the team.
Act as the strategic right hand: Support the Global Head of Creative by translating creative and business priorities into actionable team planning, identifying organisational risks, and ensuring decisions are followed through. Manage agency partners and freelancers.
Manage creative briefing and prioritisation: Partner with stakeholders to intake, scope, and prioritise creative requests, ensuring alignment with business goals and available capacity.
Drive strategic operations initiatives: Lead projects that transform how the team works, from tooling upgrades and onboarding processes to expanding the freelance roster, building creative playbooks, and embedding AI into workflows.
Uphold creative quality and consistency: Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and project managers to maintain brand standards and ensure consistency across markets and channels.
Coordinate cross-functional creative delivery: Act as creative operations lead on key projects such as packaging and innovation launches, ensuring timelines, resources, and creative delivery are aligned across teams.
Our new flavor 10+ years of experience in creative operations, project management, or studio management, either agency-side or in-house. You know what it takes to keep a creative team running smoothly at pace.
Proven ability to manage creative workflows and resourcing in a fast-paced, growing environment. You have built or improved systems that helped creative teams deliver better work more efficiently.
A natural connector with strong stakeholder management skills. You collaborate and manage with diplomacy across all levels, from designers to market leads to external partners.
Operationally excellent and highly organised. You manage multiple moving parts with clarity and calm, and you thrive when things are dynamic and evolving. You need little guidance to deliver and love to challenge the status quo.
Creative empathy and curiosity. You understand and respect the creative process. You enable rather than police, and you are always exploring new ideas, tools, and techniques to improve how the team works.
Strategic and commercial thinking. You connect creative outputs to business objectives, bring everything back to the brief, and proactively improve systems and ways of working.
A growth mindset with critical thinking and flexibility. You adapt quickly within a growing company and are comfortable with ambiguity.
You thrive in a dynamic creative environment, where priorities shift, and processes are still evolving. You bring calm clarity and structure helping the team adapt, find solutions and keep great work moving forward
Experience with creative tools and project management platforms (ClickUp and Harvest are a bonus).
We are all about being more in person than apart: this means we offer flexibility but see each other in the office on average 3 days a week. More is fine too!
