Purchasing Officer & Translation (Chinese Speaking)

Key Responsibilities: 1.General & Tooling Procurement: Source, evaluate, and select vendors, primarily from China, for mold components, spare parts, machinery inserts, factory tools, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) supplies. 2.Service Sourcing: Coordinate the procurement of localized technical services, equipment calibration, and maintenance contracts with external vendors. 3.Liaison & Translation: Translate technical specifications, drawings, and quotation details from internal engineering/tooling teams into Mandarin Chinese for overseas vendors, and vice versa. 4.Negotiation & Cost Control: Negotiate prices, commercial terms, Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ), and lead times for non-raw material items to achieve cost savings. 5.Order & Inventory Tracking: Issue Purchase Orders (POs) through internal ERP systems, track shipment status from China, and ensure timely delivery to minimize factory downtime. 6.Supplier Management: Evaluate supplier performance, follow up on missing or delayed orders, and coordinate quality claims for defective toolings or equipment parts. 7.Provide daily Chinese-Thai bilingual interpretation and translation services, including internal meetings, business negotiations, contracts, policies, and official documents, ensuring accuracy and consistency of information.

Qualifications: Sex : Male or Female Age requirement : 26–38 years old. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or an Engineering-related field. Language Skills: Excellent command of Mandarin Chinese (Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing) HSK 5 or above is preferred. Good communication skills in Thai and English for internal coordination. Experience: 1–3 years of experience in indirect purchasing, general procurement, or MRO sourcing in a manufacturing environment—ideally within tooling, molds, die-casting, automotive parts, or machinery industries. (Fresh graduates with strong technical Chinese capabilities are welcome). Technical Skills: Ability to understand basic technical terms or engineering terms related to molds/machinery. Proficient in MS Excel. Experience with ERP or SAP systems is a major plus. Soft Skills: Great interpersonal skills, high adaptability to technical environments, and strong negotiation abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed for interacting with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and perform under pressure. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Canva skills are a plus. Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to coordinate effectively across teams.
