Production Technician

Tollo is seeking a Production Technician.
As a production technician, you will improve existing and build production lines for new products with a focus on LEAN and the highest quality. You will work in a team that supports our production.
Tasks The role involves working actively to improve and rationalize operations. You will work both independently and out on the production floor together with personnel from other departments.
Main Responsibilities Participating in improving our production lines where, together with those responsible in production, you shall create the most efficient and ergonomic solutions. Designing, e.g., press tools, fixtures, and creating layouts, etc. Cost calculations and follow-up. Calculating work content for new products prior to quoting. Contributing to improving quality and productivity. Continuous improvements in production. Ensuring that machines used in production meet legal requirements (CE marking).
Qualifications and personal qualities To succeed and thrive in this position, you must have technical knowledge, experience with good production solutions, and experience in LEAN work. You have worked in a similar role within manufacturing industry. Experience with projects and training other people is desirable. It is important that you have good computer skills and are accustomed to drawing in CAD programs. We use Creo and Autocad. Additionally, knowledge of ISO and TS standards is a merit. You have a vocational engineering education (gymnasieingenjör) as a foundation or several years of experience, and good administrative skills with structure and follow-up. As a person, you are quality-conscious, meticulous, and take pride in delivering on time. You communicate in a clear and direct manner while treating others with respect. It is important that you take initiative, see opportunities, and are self-driven. Since our corporate language is English, it is important that you can understand English in speech and writing.
