Varied private client work, support for STEP studies and a 7.5% employer pension contribution. An established law firm is seeking a Private Client Lawyer to join its welcoming Canterbury team, bringing experience and sound judgement to a busy department.
About the role
The Private Client Lawyer will:
- Manage matters covering wills, probate and estate administration.
- Advise on trusts, inheritance tax and succession planning.
- Work with a varied client base, including business owners and agricultural families.
- Contribute to day-to-day team decisions and support junior colleagues where appropriate.
- Benefit from dedicated secretarial support.
What we are looking for
- A qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 2+ years’ PQE in private client.
- Confidence managing a caseload and making considered decisions.
- Clear communication and a sensitive approach to clients.
- A collaborative attitude and enthusiasm for continued professional development.
