Engineering Coordinator

Responsibilities and duties
- Coordinate the sector under your responsibility, acting on indicators and promoting the continuous improvement of operational and administrative processes;
- Coordinate the team of employees, defining priorities, providing technical guidance, evaluating performance, and promoting qualification, aiming to establish the best organizational climate;
- Coordinate compliance with PO's and PR's and other requirements of the quality management system (quality policy and objectives, risks and opportunities, etc.) in the execution of work;
- Coordinate and evaluate the sizing of materials and equipment in ongoing projects, in order to meet technical specifications and customer requirements;
- Control and critically analyze the order handover documents (quotes, technical specifications, etc.), including those from contracted third parties, ensuring established deadlines and quality;
- Coordinate, verify, and approve the development of the mechanical and structural design of the equipment;
- Prepare and/or approve the technical specifications for manufacturing / acquisition of components and the issuance of ETC's;
- Ensure the achievement of operational results through the planning of actions to meet goals;
- Ensure the proper functioning of the processes in your area, controlling indicators, supporting other areas, and solving problems in a systemic way;
- Plan and control the area's expenses/budget, promoting its viability through the achievement of revenue, investment, and expense goals;
- Provide support to manufacturing, supplies, enterprise, technical assistance, assembly, and equipment testing, whenever necessary;
- Analyze and coordinate with the workgroup the technical solutions for manufacturing and assembly non-conformities;
- Disseminate the quality culture, acting as a facilitator and encourager in the application of quality system tools and techniques;
- Control and monitor the Engineering cost tracking Maps (budgeted x actual) and Equipment weight Maps (budgeted x actual);
- Review and ensure the quality of project documentation (ETC´s - Technical Purchasing Specification, shopping list, painting, schedule, manuals, etc.).
Requirements and qualifications
- Degree in Engineering;
- Project Management and design of lifting and transport machines;
- Legislation and technical drawing Standards;
- Basic design of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits and structural design;
- Basic manufacturing and external assembly processes;
- Technical English;
- Technical standards (ABNT, ASTM, NR's, CEMA, DIN, ISSO);
- AutoCAD systems, Document Manager;
- ERP System;
- Quality management system (procedures, indicators, quality policy and objectives, etc.).
